We enjoyed a remarkably synergistic combination of speakers in April with the unique combination of myself and my digital online marketing experience followed by the lovely Helen Leathers and her intuitive guidance. When you combine the two magic happens.
I kicked off the April talk with a presentation on setting up a digital marketing funnel which for ease (and fun) I like to call getting your digital ducks in a row because when you do you will wake up to a stream of targeted leads in your inbox every day before breakfast.
Even though the process sounds simple enough, the technical side of setting up your digital ducks is challenging, but there are always people within WIRE that can help so no excuses.
In this particular case, you simply had to be there on this one to “join the dots” as it were, but here is a quick overview of those digital ducks which when you get them lined up in a row, all talking to one another 24 / 7 / 365 days of the year, you will never be left wondering where the next lead for your business is going to come from.
Feature Article :How To Attract Leads To Your Inbox Every Day Before Breakfast
1. Your First Digital Ducks Are Your Products And Services
The first step in setting up your business online (just like you would if you were setting up a shop on the High Street) is to stock your shop! If you have products and services that you intend to sell online then putting them on your website / creating them / setting them up should be the first of your digital ducks.
2. Your Second Digital Duck Is Your Lead Magnet
You can send traffic to your website all day long and HOPE for results or you can increase your visitors into leads by offering a lead magnet prominently displayed on your website as a “Hello, welcome, I have a gift for you” introduction.
In most businesses, lead magnets out perform anything else when it comes to lead generation. And that little ducky better be mighty eye-catching!
3. Your Third Digital Duck Needs To Deliver Your Lead Magnet And Say “Thank you!”
This digital duck is a very important one and can be enhanced, tweaked and added to to increase sales and conversions. If you have never done anything digital before, keep it real simple and send a Free Report to your new subscriber as an attachment or link in your email autoresponder follow up series.
4. Your Fourth Digital Duck Builds A Relationship Via Email
Email is a deeply personal thing and today more than ever before it is a way that YOU have been given the opportunity to help someone out who has come your way seeking a solution to a problem or wanting to know more about something you are offering.
When treated with respect and nurtured with care it is extremely valuable to your business.
5. Your Fifth Digital Duck Is All Out Massive Action Duck
You can have the most beautiful website in the world, offer the best coaching course on the planet, sell the most beneficial products to health, offer the best service in your industry but if nobody KNOWS about it, you are going to feel deflated, despondent and living on what little income to scramble together.
Even with ALL the digital ducks in place you need to play your part in going all out to build your business.
The online marketing tools of today have never been cheaper to access or easier to use BUT you need to expand your reach, know your audience and be willing to commit to being an all out massive action duck to create a tipping point in your business.
